For my final project I chose to do the hockey team because
these are the guys that I spend the most time with here at Bethel. My approach
to this project was to show how the team puts in the long hours of hard work during
the week day in order to go into the weekend tournament with the willingness to
win and become better. The first half is shot in black and white, I thought it
would be a great idea for the viewer to have a clear idea of what is going on,
who the subject is, and how much fun they are having playing the sport they
love. Second half was shot in color because I wanted to show off the team
jerseys and how professional the boys look when they are all wearing the same
uniform. Capturing these moments was a lot of fun because you got to know each subject
on a more personal level when the focus was on them.
